HIDmaker FS - USB As Easy As 1-2-3!

1. Define Your Data, with names that are meaningful to you, using HIDmaker's graphical sketchpad - the Visual Data Designer. Exclusive Direct Transfer of Variables technology!
2. Generate Your Code for both PIC peripheral and PC host. You'll see the variables that you created, in the code on both sides. Just put data into a variable on one side, and just use the same variable on the other side. It's like a magic mailbox!
3. Customize and Run! Just add a little code on each side to put the values in variables, and add a little code to use those values on the other side.

Simple Upgrade Management SYSTEM (SUMS)

SUMS lets you simply, safely, and securely upgrade the firmware of your PIC based products in the field.  It protects your intellectual property by sending an encrypted Protected Firmware File to your customer, instead of a wide open hex file that anybody could steal. SUMS is a seamlessly integrated system that automatically collects the necessary files together, zips them into an archive, and emails the files to your customer along with a personalized email (that uses a templates that you can customize).

You can add extra SUMS-compatible bootloaders to this modular and extensible system, and  easily manage upgrades across your entire product line, even if your products use different PIC processors and even different connectivity types.  (USB and Ethernet bootloaders are currently supported.)

USB Bootloader Pro

USB Bootloader Pro is a very capable, lower cost product for providing firmware upgrades when you don't need high security or an automatic delivery system. 
USB Bootloader Pro is best suited for low volume, non-secure situations, or strictly for development purposes, where you don’t worry that someone could reverse engineer the unprotected hex files that Bootloader Pro knows how to read.  USB Bootloader Pro will require more effort to send out upgrades than the automated SUMS system: with USB Bootloader Pro, you’ll have to collect all the files yourself, and email them to each customer manually.
